About Me
Born in Montserrat, raised in London.
I relocated to the UK after the Soufrière Hills volcano eruption in '97. Growing up in East London, I developed a deep appreciation for its multicultural community as well as a passion for sports—influences that now shine through in every design I create.
I launched my first collection, The Power Fist Collection, in October 2020 for UK Black History Month. It was a turbulent year across the globe. The countless videos, stories, and articles, on top of the pandemic, highlighted the oppression still happening in the world—causing the Fist to rise once again as a symbol of solidarity.
About Home
Montserrat, known affectionately as the Emerald Isle of the Caribbean, is a British Overseas Territory in the Leeward Islands. It is a place of lush beauty, deep history, and incredible resilience.
The population exceeded 10,000 in the early 1990s, but the volcano crisis forced more than two-thirds of us to depart for the UK, Antigua, and the USA. It changed the landscape of our island forever, but it never broke our spirit.
Today, there are permanent resources on the island to monitor the volcano and ensure safety. It remains a place of unique wonder—a modern-day Pompeii surrounded by paradise.
